NEWS: Ubisoft Enters Partnership With The Tetris Company

Almost 30 years later, the Tetris franchise will be making its way to next-gen consoles.

The Tetris Company, which currently holds all rights to the extremely popular puzzler Tetris has since teamed up with acclaimed developer Ubisoft.

With that comes another announcement - Ubisoft confirmed numerous Tetris games will be developed for the PS4 and Xbox One, and will strictly be download-only.

Since its most noticable release on Nintendo's Game Boy back in 1989, the game has spun various clones - most with slight or large differences in the core playstyle, offering more than the basic original version of the game.
