NEWS: Skyrim Sells 20 Million Copies

Bethesda's massive epic Skyrim has achieved an impressive milestone, deeming it one of the most successful games ever.


A recent post on the official Bethesda website highlighted special voice actors who are to use their talents in the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online such as John Cleese himself - however, at the foot of the article discusses how Skyrim has sold massive amounts of copies worldwide.

Bethesda praise the franchise's massive success, saying:

"The previous chapter in this franchise was The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which was released in November 2011 and enjoyed worldwide critical and commercial success. As the sequel to the 2002 Role-Playing Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Skyrim earned hundreds of 'Game of the Year' awards and sold ofer 20 million copies."

NEWS: Next-Gen Skyrim Rumour Debunked

Gamers were shocked recently with a possible release of Skyrim on both PS4 and Xbox One.


The Bethesda website recently listed the 2011 release; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as being available on the PS4 and Xbox One - however, PR and marketing vise president Pete Hines has fully debunked this possibility.

Hines said "a bug caused platforms that don't exist to show up for some games. Sorry for confusion."

NEWS: The Elder Scrolls Online Beta Invites Dispatched

A batch of beta invitations has been sent out in preparation for the games official release in June.



Users who have registered at the official Elder Scrolls Online website are encouraged to check their email addresses as an invite could very well be in their inbox, although its advised to check the 'promotions' tab for Google Mail users.

In an official post, Zenimax said:

"The beta is getting bigger as launch approaches, and we can't wait to see everyone's feedback. If you don't receive your invite today, don't worry - you'll have more chances to explore Tamriel before launch."

The game will hit shelves April for PC and Mac, whilst a PS4 and Xbox One release will arrive in June - a monthly subscription is required as you'd expect from an MMORPG.

If you haven't received a code and would like to get involved, its advised to regularly check the official Twitter account. More invites will be sent throughout the month.
