NEWS: Killer Instinct - Orchid and Spinal Confirmed

Returning fighters Orchid and Spinal have been seen in a recent gameplay video, making them the sixth and seventh characters in the reboot.

A gameplay video released through IGN reveals Orchid as another playable character in the upcoming reboot - she appeared in the first Killer Instinct back in 1994 and is known to utilize her legs and twin tonfa's to take care of her enemies.

Whilst the video primarily focuses on the reveal of Orchid, at the end we get a glimpse of another series favourite; Spinal - a Skeleton warrior who is seen holding his trademark sword and shield, unfortunately no gameplay was shown.

Killer Instinct (2013) is set to release November 22 as part of the current Xbox One launch titles. The game is Xbox One exclusive, with no plans to expand to other consoles. Watch the teaser video below.

PREVIEW: Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze - Dixie Kong Trailer

What ever happened to Dixie Kong? She's been in numerous spin-offs, but now she's finally making her big comeback. Kind of.
With not much news since its delay back in February, Nintendo has released the latest Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze trailer, featuring Dixie Kong - Diddy Kong's other half and Tiny Kong's older sister.

You might remember her first appearance on Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest all the way back in 1995 on the Super NES, and since then she's made the odd appearance here and there - but now it's time for her to aid the Kongs in there latest adventure.

Dixie Kong was one of the most enjoyable characters to play
on the SNES, and offered versatile gameplay.
The gameplay shows just how useful Dixie Kong will be, whilst Donkey Kong is doing his thing - thumping around the ground killing enemies, Dixie can make use of her speed and....hair, yeah her hair enables the player to glide for a short period of time, offering a method to reach certain places, as well as jumping higher than either Donkey or Diddy Kong.

Watch the trailer for yourself, and leave your comments. No known release date is yet known, although Nintendo said earlier in the year it would be making its way to shelves Q4 2013.
