The temporary DLC will include new content based on Valentine's Day ideologies.
Rockstar Games has posted details regarding an upcoming DLC on their newswire, and whilst the DLC will be available only temporarily, players are able to keep any of the acquired content afterwards.
Named the 'Valentine's Day Massacre Special', the free to download update will incorporate a new weapon, a new vehicle, new clothing, and a total of 10 new jobs - all will be based around Valentine's Day.
The Gusenberg Sweeper will be available, a machine gun that according to Rockstar is the perfect way of saying "i love you", players will also be treated to the Albany Roosevelt - an armoured 1920s limousine that's "perfect for gangster and their molls."
An array of clothing will be included such as a double breasted suit and a Flapper Bob hairstyle, among others. Finally, new jobs will make themselves known, including the likes of a new parachute jump, land, sea, and cycling races, and new deathmatches.
As well as online co-op heists becoming available in 2014, a new story DLC will is also planned.
Eager to know more about what happened to the trio; Michael, Trevor, and Franklin after the ending to GTA V? Well, there's good news for you as Rockstar have announced a new DLC will be released sometime in 2014 that will continue the game's core narratives.
"For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Frankin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas."
Unfortunately, that's all the information so far - what do you hope to expect from this DLC? Comment below.

Rockstar have gone all-out with GTA V, giving players pretty much exactly what they've been waiting for.
Developer: Rockstar North | Publisher: Rockstar Games | Genre: Action / Sandbox
Think of everything you love about Grand Theft Auto, multiply that by a
few hundred, and then you have Rockstar's latest creation; Grand Theft Auto V -
a game of such large scale is difficult to breakdown in a single review due to
the sheer depth of what's available to do in the world of Los Santos. It's been
practically five years since the release of Grand Theft Auto IV, with the odd
DLC here and there in between, and its safe to say - the wait was well worth
it.
The game starts with a prelude
involving Michael and Trevor, two of the main playable characters, which takes
place during a heist 9 years prior to the actual games events - essentially
this is a glorified tutorial, enabling players to familiarize themselves with
the various gameplay mechanics.
That is just a small part of the
narrative, the game revolves around the lives of all three characters, which
eventually relate to each other in some way or the other. There's Michael - the
once serious criminal, now turned family man, Trevor - a meth dealing red neck
who isn't quite all there in the head, and finally Franklin - the stereotypical
gangster who wants more than dealing petty drugs in the hood.
Each character has a unique
ability - Michael's shooting can be enhanced, Trevor is able to conflict more
damage whilst reducing damage taken, and Franklin
is able to drive with superior driving skills, making chases and races much
easier.
You'll grow to love each character the more you play, or you might resent them...
There is so much to do in this
massive environment, from little things such as getting a tattoo or playing
tennis, to finding yourself in intense gun-battles, torturing someone for
information, or taking place in heart-pounding illegal street races at max
speeds.
Missions start off at a pretty
slow pace just like previous games, eventually moving onto far more complex
tasks that reward you much more, you'll start doing things such as delivering
cars, helping out friends, then you'll finally do your first heist job - one of
the most distinguishing features of the game.
Heists allow you to earn a lot of
money as long as you have the right preparation - before performing a heist,
players must go through various tasks including finding the right getaway
vehicle, hiring the appropriate people for each part of the job, and so on.
The amount of money earned at end
all depends on you - there is a time frame in which you are able to steal
lucrative items shall we say, if you're not quick enough, only a small amount
of cash will be rewarded, however if you manage to actually steal every item
available, expect a large deposit in your virtual bank account. Using the
option to replay missions comes in handy here, especially if you don't do so
well on your first try.
Concept portraying a heist - dressing up in disguises with the intent to kill anyone who get's in the way.
Some missions won't be so
straight-forward, and will actually make you continuously switch between
characters depending a part of that particular mission, for example Michael
could be planting sticky bombs on a boat, Franklin could be keeping watch from
a building in the distance with a sniper rifle, whist Trevor waits around in
the getaway car preparing to pick the other two up - this is definitely
something new in the series and it should be welcomed with open arms as it
proves for extremely entertaining gameplay and a sense of real teamwork.
Core gameplay mechanics are
generally good, driving vehicles feels a lot easier, the cover-shooting system
works well, especially in gang fights, but the option for auto-aim makes the
game way too easy - you can literally shoot every enemy without practically no
manual aiming - of course there are options to turn off auto-aim, it depends
how much of a challenge you really want.
Each characters stats can be
upgraded by performing certain tasks i.e. reaching top speeds, playing sports,
swimming - almost everything you do will effect stat progression in some way or
another, this reminds me of San Andreas, only more advanced.
There is so much to talk about in
terms of gameplay - the rampage missions we're familiar with, taking part in
triathlon events (actually more fun than it sounds), teaching your dog
"Chop" new tricks, taking part in random events - giving you the
option to hunt down criminals who have mugged citizens, and either keeping the
money if giving it back like a decent human being. I usually keep the cash for
myself.
From the very first GTA, music and
the radio stations have played an important part, adding not only entertainment
whilst playing, but also giving the series a sense of uniqueness - GTAV has a
total of 16 radio stations, offering rap, punk rock, reggae, heavy metal, and
so forth, catering for almost everyone's music tastes.
The graphics are visually pleasing
- riding through the greenland with the sun on the horizon is actually really
relaxing and takes you away from the chaotic life of San Andreas temporarily - for
the most part, the visuals are fantastic, although there's lack of detail in
some places due to such a large sandbox, which is completely understandable.
Each area of the enourmous map has
its own personality, for example the rundown ghettos (including the infamous
Grove Street) have their own look; chain linked fences surrounding cramped
housing conditions, with gang members dotted around the place, whilst the
upper-class suburban locations offer large expensive houses, perfectly catered
for gardens, and trendy cars driving by almost constantly.
The sheer scope of this game is
incredible, Rockstar have created something that will be played for years to
come, just like past titles in the series are, having all three characters
narratives play out is such a simple, yet effective way to improve the series -
offering fantastic and entertaining gameplay, beautiful visuals, humorous
themes, and a rich world offering so much to players, this game is truly epic
in every sense of the word. REVIEW1
Gaming Till Dawn breaks into Grand Theft Auto V, whilst revisiting Halo Reach's multiplayer, and more.
Grand Theft Auto V / GTA Online
System: PS3
It's a safe assumption to make that this game is on everyone's now playing list at the moment - I've been incredibly busy as of late so I've not actually had that much time to play games in general, I'm around the 35% completion point, and still finding new things to do in the incredible world of Los Santos.
It seems when I go to do a storyline mission, other side-missions or activities will pop up most of the time, this isn't something to complain about though, it's a fantastic experience to interact with the game differently almost every time it's played.
I've only briefly played Grand Theft Auto Online - creating a character, finishing the initial tutorial missions, and done an occasional playlist match, I know there's so much more to do but getting 100% in the actual game is first priority. Incredible game - review coming soon.
Eufloria
System: PSN
Fun Fact: Euflroria was created by just three developers.
I'm in the process of writing an indie gaming article for a local magazine, and one of the games that really stood out was Eufloria, offering one of the most unique gaming experiences I've had, whilst the game looks incredibly simple, it actually has a lot to offer in terms of diverse gameplay, strategic mehtods of playing each level, and so fourth.
If you're into indie games, this is a must - if you're into gaming - this is a must. I've finished the first few initial levels and each step further into the game constantly suprises me with new mechanics and gameplay. Awesome well-thought out game.
Halo Reach
System: Xbox 360
I finished the game years ago, and recently on legendary-solo difficulty, but the multiplayer has always brought me back in some way or another, a lot of people dislike the direction Bungie took the multiplayer, and whilst I agree that loadouts shouldn't be a part of the Halo series, I've more than often always enjoyed playing with other virtual spartans in the various gametypes the game has to offer.
I'm just two ranks from reaching Inheritor status, which I know a lot of people have already got to, but it's something I want to eventually get to as well. Feature1
Grand Theft Auto V makes its way to the most downloaded PSN game.
Both Sony Europe and Sony America has revealed that Grand Theft Auto V has become the most downloaded title through the PlayStation Network.
Fred Duttonposted on the EU blog that the game has taken over the previously most sold title; The Last of Us:
"Grand Theft Auto V dominated the PS3 chart, breaking The Last of Us' record to become the biggest ever digital release on the platform."
To echo the above statement, Justin Massongillover at the US blog said: "I think we all saw this one coming."

Just a day after its release, Grand Theft Auto V has claimed the title of biggest launch title in UK history.
Right now, I'm probably the only person in the UK who hasn't got a copy of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V (I'm getting it next week, don't worry) - it seems the launch was extremely successful worldwide and even broke records here.
Around 1.57 million copies were sold in just one day yesterday, creating a sum of approximately £65 million according to recent figures.
Previously, Black Ops II held the record for most units sold on launch day - back in November 2010, 1.41 million copies were sold, whilst bringing in £58 million.
The official map of Grand Theft Auto 5 has somehow been leaked on the internet, and it looks enormous.
It's rumoured the image was leaked from the strategy guide for the game, which obviously hasn't been released yet as the game isn't even out yet. The map was originally leaked on Reddit by GeENiE.
Either way, take a look at the leaked image below.
From what I can see, there are two major counties - Blaine and Los Santos, and it seems that the country side easily outweighs the urban city-type areas, however we already know that the size of San Andreas is generally large, so you have to wonder how big the world actually.
On the map, there are numerous placemakers, I can make out the following:
Tennis events
Parachuting events
Clothing stores
Gun stores
Hairdressers
Banks
Racing events
There are others on there but I can only guess what they mean at this point. It seems players will have a massive amount of exploring to do in this game, whether it be in the city or in the rural areas - I'm sure they'll be a lot to collect like previous GTA games, and I for one can't wait to get stuck into this seemingly gigantic game.
Nothing too mind-blowing at this year's PAX but a lot of fantastic games were shown - I'll try to breakdown what I think you should be most excited about or are just simply interesting to have a look at.
Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures
"Heroes" Trailer
Developer: FreakZone Games
Release Date: 20 Sep 2013
Platform: PC/Windows
The Angry Video Game Nerd, most people know who this guy is, if you don't, you need to check him out. I believe the game was first revealed 5 months ago and ever since I've been itching to see more, and that's what we finally got at this year's PAX.
The "heroes" trailer shows off all of the playable characters including:
The Nerd - The AVGN himself takes the role of main character I assume.
Guitar Guy - Also known as Kyle Justin, the guy responsible for the fantastic AVGN theme
Mike - I believe Mike is the AVGN's best friend
Bullshit Man - The hilarious bullshit covered face creation by James Rolfe
The trailer itself showed more gameplay, and it just looks like pure fun. It has that retro feel that defines what the AVGN is all about, the levels are full of references to the episodes, for example the naked lady sprites from "Atari Porn", collecting the Rolling Rock power-ups, and so fourth.
Personally, I can't wait to get stuck into this game, I am under the impression it will be released only through Steam at present, but I wouldn't be surprised if it shows up on the PSN, XBLA, or the Virtual Console. If you decide to pre-order the game, you do get a 10% discount.
Grand Theft Auto 5
The Official Trailer
Developer: Rockstar North
Release Date: 17 Sep 2013
Platform: PS3, Xbox 360
With the release so close, it wouldn't make sense not to show an official trailer for one of the most anticipated games of all time. Is that fair to say?
The trailer shows off the various antics from Michael, Franklin, and Trevor - robbing banks, stealing cars, getting chased by the cops, jumping from a helicopter (or plane), running down the street with a mini-gun, and so fourth.
As if people aren't excited enough, I think Rock Star wanted to remind us what is capable in the game, and that we're finally able to get our hands on it soon enough. The game will be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox One.
Killer Instinct
Thunder Combo Trailer
Developer: Double Helix Games
Release Date: TBA
Platform: Xbox One
Chief Thunder has been in all of the Killer Instinct games and is definitely an iconic character, so it was nice to see him in action in Rare's latest installment to the series.
Combos have played a huge role in the games, ranging way back to the original Super Nintendo release, so it's a refreshing relief they are making an appearance. The game itself looks a whole lot like Mortal Kombat 9 in terms of level design, blood spills, and graphics, but I'm not saying that's a bad thing at all.
The combos seen in the trailer are "AWESOME", "EXTREME", and "MASTER" - each representing the level of the combo a player has just pulled off, and I have to say, they all look incredible and I'm sure this game will be as fun as previous installments in the series. The title will be Xbox One exclusive.
Chucky: Slash and Dash
Teaser Trailer
Developer: Slimstown Studios
Release Date: TBA
Platform: iOS/Android
I know this game probably won't be anything special, but I am a sucker for the Chucky movies so deep down I know I'll be wanting to check this out upon release, unfortunately there is no gameplay shown but it's clear it'll be a iOS game only.
With the release of Curse of Chucky coming up here in the UK, the game was probably created to make a lot of money as it will most likely tie in with the movie.
Chucky does look extremely menacing in the teaser though, so let's just hope the game will actually be half decent.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate
Under New Management Trailer
Developer: Armature Studio
Release Date: 25 Oct 2013
Platform: 3DS/PSVita
The Arkham series is expanding to handheld territory on the 3DS and PSVita, this time in Arkham's very own Blackgate prison (sounds similar to Asylum, right?).
After an explosion at the prison, it is suspected an escape attempt was made but didn't go too well, either way the prison is full of hostages, prisoners, criminals, enemies of Batman, and so on.
It's clear that The Joker is going to make life tough for Batman, as well as Penguin, Black Mask, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, and Solomon Grundy. It seems that Catwoman will be part of the game too.
The game itself seems to be both 2D and 3D, depending on what particular part of the game a player is at, personally I invite this style of gameplay with open arms, especially when it comes to handheld consoles.
That's all from me today, PAX has definitely been interesting this year - we've seen some new gameplay here and there, but please remember these were my highlights, there were more games shown off but nothing to get too excited about. Comment and let me know what you thought of PAX this year. Feature1
