NEWS: Nintendo Won't Appear At PAX East 2014

Nintendo has announced they will not be attending this year's event.

Since the first Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East event in 2010, Nintendo has always been around, often showing off promising titles such as Pikmin 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD - however, this year will tell a very different story.

Speaking with Polygon, a Nintendo spokesperson has said:

"Interacting directly with our fans and letting them play our games firsthand is a key component of our approach."

"That doesn't include PAX East this year, but we will offer our fans a variety of opportunities to get their hands on Nintendo products in 2014."

Sony will not be attending this year's event either, however other big companies including Microsoft, Square Enix, Blizzard, 2K Games, Double Fine, Twitch, Oculus VR, and Ubisoft are to make an appearance showing off their respective products.

NEWS: World of Warcraft Boosting Could Cost $60 (£35)

Players could reach level 90 in a few simple button clicks, according to a screenshot taken from a test server.

Can't be bothered to put in the hours of reaching the current max level? Soon, you'll be given the option to climb the ranks with a payment of $60 / £35.

A screenshot posted on MMO-Champion clearly shows the option to boost characters through the online shop, this comes as no real surprise as Blizzard recently announced players would be able to utilize a boosting service, but hadn't revealed a price.

Other micro-transitions include changing factions, switching races, and changing your name, among others. Players can also purchase various pets and mounts.

NEWS: Diablo III Reaper of Souls - Beta Begins By End of 2013

The first expansion for Diablo III will be in a closed-beta phase by the end of the year.

The beta has officially opened, but only to Blizzard employees and respective friends and family members, which has been described as "the first step of public testing".

However, the official Diablo III website has revealed a Closed Beta will take place before 2014, but will be "extremely limited" with your chances being higher if you're a player who plays the game regularly as you'll be recognised as an active player.

The Beta's content will include the new class Crusader, an NPC known as Mystic (or Myriam Jahzia) who specialises in enchanting, and finally Adventure Mode. The final boss battle will not be available though.

In order to have a chance of getting into the Beta, login at Battle Net and follow the instructions.
