Losing characters and disappearing cars - some of the issues players have been experiencing since the launch of GTA Online.
Rockstar are hoping a $500,000 cash injection to players accounts will ease the recent technical issues including disappearing vehicles and the loss of characters including all of the rank progression - of course, it's not real money, it's "GTA$", Rockstar Newswire said:
"We are planning to provide a special stimulus package for all who have played or will play Grand Theft Auto Online this month. We will be dropping a cool half a million GTA$ in the GTA Online bank accounts of all players this month, starting as early as next week."
Rockstar are hoping this generous amount will ease any annoyances players experienced through the technical issues and glitches - most of the comments by the community are positive and are recognising that such a large game will have its fair share of problems, especially during the first phase of release.
The post continued:
"For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet."

In order to be eligible for the $500,00, Rockstar lists certain conditions players have to meet - GTA Online must be played during the month of October 2013 and the 1.04 title update needs to be installed for the payments to be received.
