Triad Wars will immerse you in the Sleeping Dogs universe once again.
UFG made the following statement:
"Hi everyone! We've been a bit tight-lipped about our current projects over here at UFG, but we're finally able to give you a little something.
So, we're making a new game! We can't say a lot about it right now, but you might have read about a trademark registration for something called Triad Wars? Well, we're super-excited that it's another game based in the Sleeping Dogs universe"
No further details were made regarding the game's narrative - it could be a prequel, a spin-off, at this point it's all under tabs.

They should make it set China in the 60's, 70's, or 80's and have that retro kung fu film feel. Just watched some crappy, yet entertaining and cheesy Jackie Chan film called Police Woman. They could build off something like that and also have some Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme, Bolo Yeung influences.
ReplyDeleteIt's possible considering all UFG have said is that the game will take place in the same universe as Sleeping Dogs, not necessarily the same timeline as the Wei Shen narrative.
DeleteI also think it would be cool to see Shen's life as a teenager - him getting his taste for the criminal life, or something like that
