NEWS: Sony Release PlayStation Plus 2013 Recap Trailer

A new trailer showcasing what 2013 offered subscribers of the PlayStation Plus service has been uploaded today.

At almost 3 minutes in length, Sony have put together a montage of showing off every free game that has been available throughout 2013 - the trailer is rightly called 'All The Games Trailer'.

PlayStation Plus was originally launched in 2010 with an aim to provide regular free content through a paid subscription, since then the service has recruited a healthy amount of users. Check out the trailer below.

NEWS: Sony To Give Away Free Games On PlayStation Mobile

Throughout the next five weeks, Sony will be distributing free games on PlayStation Mobile devices as well as PS Vita.

Sony are getting into the festive spirit as European Product Manager Mayumi Donovan revealed various games will be periodically released in blocks over the next five weeks completely free of charge.

Two new games will release each Wednesday, however the first games are available right now, including Passing Time, which has been described as "An all-new touch-controlled football game", with the objective to "burn the opposition with a blistering fireball". Sounds fun, right?

The second game is Rymdkapsel "a meditative strategy game set in the depths of space.", players will be "tasked with building the best possible space station by commanding your minions to collect and utilise the different resources at your disposal."

In order to get these games, you'll need the PlayStation Mobile App installed or you can head over to the PlayStation Store to directly download the games to your PS Vita.

NEWS: Games With Gold December 2013 - Gears of War and Shoot Many Robots

With December quickly approaching, Microsoft have revealed the latest games available as part of the Games With Gold scheme.

It's safe to assume every Xbox 360 owner has played Gears of War at some point, and as it turns out it will feature as the highlight to December's Games With Gold scheme Microsoft started back in June. 

Gears originally launched in 2006 and since has grown a large committed fanbase and spawning various sequels. 

It is your mission to save the human race from the hordes of Locusts, to do this you'll take control of Marcus Fenix and use a variety of weaponry to take down the enemy in any way possible. You can download the game from December 1-15.

Making itself available December 16-31, Shoot Many Robots does exactly what it says on the tin - blast your way through numerous robotic enemies in 2D environments. The game also allows up to 4 players for multiplayer play, making for even more chaos than there already is.

NEWS: Games With Gold November 2013 - A World of Keflings and Iron Brigade

Microsoft has revealed the next batch of free-to-download games as part of the Games With Gold scheme.

Starting November 1, A World of Keflings will be available for Xbox LIVE Gold members to download completely free of charge - the game uses your custom avatar and its the player's mission to gather various resources to help build the kingdom around them. The game usually retails at £6.75.

Later in the month, November 16 - users can download Iron Brigade, again free of charge. A fusion of tower defence and third-person shooting offers players exciting and destructive gameplay. £6.75 is the original price.

Both of the games will always be available to play for free as long as you download them before the promotion ends - Keflings will be November 15, whilst Iron Brigade will be November 30. Get 'em while you can.

NEWS: PlayStation Plus November 2013 EU - MGS Revengeance and Remember Me

Sony have released the schedule for November's PlayStation Plus EU update.

Starting October 23, European subscribers of the PS+ service will have full access to Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance and Remember Me on the PS3, whilst the PS Vita will be updated with Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD and Motorstorm RC.

NEWS: Games with Gold October 2013 - Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes

Released back in 2011 on consoles, Xbox LIVE's free game for the start of October will be Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes.

The game combines role-playing, real time strategy, and puzzle elements whilst maintaining themes from the Might & Magic series.

Subscribers of Xbox LIVE gold will be able to download the game free of charge from 1-15 October, it's original price is currently £9.99, so if you're a member, it's definitely worth a download.

NEWS: PlayStation Plus October 2013 EU - Far Cry 3 and Dragon's Dogma

Sony has released details for the EU October PlayStation Plus update.

On the 25th September, PS+ members will have free access to the following games; Far Cry 3 and Dragon's Dogma on the PlayStation 3, whilst the PlayStation Network get's Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, and finally the PlayStation Vita will be updated with Touch My Katamari and Tekken X Street Fighter.
